This policy applies to cssb.com.my and its pages, including our landing pages and enquiry forms. "CSSB", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Country Star Sdn Bhd (Reg. No. 199701021808 (437305-H)), 53-1-1A & 1B, Jalan Medan PB 2B, Seksyen 9, 43650 Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor.
2. Personal data we collect
- Details you give us: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, company name, area or address, property type, monthly electricity (TNB) bill range, electricity supply type, preferred language, and any message you send us.
- Documents you share: such as a photo or copy of your TNB bill, and photos of your roof or premises, when you send them to us for an analysis or proposal.
- WhatsApp and phone conversations: messages and information you share when you contact us.
- Website usage data: collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, and the advertisement or link that brought you to our site (for example UTM parameters and ad click identifiers).
3. How we use your personal data
- To respond to your enquiry and contact you, including by WhatsApp, phone or email.
- To analyse your electricity usage, survey your premises, and prepare quotations and proposals.
- To supply, install, commission, maintain and support our products and services.
- To prepare and submit applications on your behalf to the relevant authorities and utilities, such as SEDA and TNB, when you engage us to do so.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
- To send you information about our products and services, where you have agreed to receive it. You can opt out at any time.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed for the purposes above, with:
- Our licensed installation partners and contractors who carry out surveys, installation and servicing.
- Authorities and utilities such as the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) and Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), for applications you ask us to make.
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as website form processing, email, messaging (WhatsApp), analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta).
- Our professional advisers, and government or law enforcement bodies where required by law.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and, on some pages, advertising tags such as the Meta Pixel, to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the performance of our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop you from using our website.
6. Transfers outside Malaysia
Some of our service providers (such as Google, Meta and our form and email providers) may store or process data outside Malaysia. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your personal data receives a level of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA.

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes it was collected for, including any warranty, after-sales and legal or accounting requirements. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

Our website may link to other websites, such as SEDA, TNB or WhatsApp. We are not responsible for how those websites handle your personal data.
